Apprenticeship was celebrated this week! NSUJL honored National Apprenticeship Appreciation Week (November 12-18) and furthermore leaders in business, labor, education, and other partners. It provided an opportunity to showcase an appreciation for the apprentice. Therefore, National Apprenticeship Appreciation Week highlights the benefits in preparing a high-skilled workforce to meet employer’s needs.

The North Eastern Joint Apprenticeship and Training (NEAT) in the outside Electrical Industry, as a Journeyman Lineman member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (I.B.E.W.) The NEAT program taught through on the job training, home study, and classroom instruction. NEAT is an Area Joint Apprenticeship & Training Committee program. The program was based on Electrical Training Alliance (formally N.J.A.T.C.) and the curriculum included 7,000 hours and 3 1/2 years of study, training, and exams. Therefore, graduates earned 25 semester hours of college credit towards the American Council on Education. Do you know an amazing apprentice that deserves to have their talents shine?
