- As you approach Hazleton, stay on the main highways your GPS recommends—avoid shortcuts down side streets or unmarked access points.
- When entering Hazleton from I‑81, you will typically use Exit 145 (West Hazleton/Hazleton).

15th Annual Climbing for Lost Linemen Ceremony

On Friday, June 26th, 2026, NSUJL will host the 15th Annual Climbing for Lost Linemen event. This deeply meaningful evening serves as a remembrance ceremony for the friends, families, and coworkers of line-workers who have been lost. Together, we gather to honor their lives, their service, and the legacy they leave behind.
The ceremony will once again feature our annual hanging of lanterns, each one representing and celebrating the life of a Lost Lineman. It is a powerful and heartfelt tradition that allows loved ones and the line-worker community to come together in solidarity, reflection, and remembrance. 14th Annual NSUJL Benefit Rodeo
Saturday, June 27th, 2026 • 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
On Saturday, June 27th, 2026, NSUJL will host the 14th Annual Lineworkers Benefit Rodeo. This event brings together lineworkers and their families from across the United States for a full day of competition, camaraderie, and support for the lineworker community.
The rodeo showcases the skill, dedication, and brotherhood of the trade while raising critical funds to assist the families of lineworkers who have been lost or injured. Participants can expect traditional rodeo events, family‑friendly activities, and a powerful day of unity and purpose.
Buffet Dinner & Awards Ceremony
Following the completion of the Lineman Rodeo, NSUJL will host an onsite buffet dinner and awards ceremony to show our appreciation for all participants. Because the exact finish time of the rodeo can vary, the buffet will begin as soon as the event concludes.
During the dinner, participants and winners will be recognized, and we welcome families to join in the celebration.
Children, team participants, rodeo staff, and rodeo volunteers eat free.
