Did you know about the benefits of an NSUJL membership?

Did you know?

NSUJL has a network of 450+ members across the country! Our members are the force behind our organization. Our members range from persons looking to make a yearly donation to members who want to visit with families, deliver home-cooked meals and provide ongoing support.

Who joins NSUJL? We accept all, regardless of gender, race, religious beliefs, national origin, disability, etc. There are no requirements to join (aside from being 18+); because of this, you don’t even need to be associated with the line industry to become a member. The military and our beneficiaries can receive an NSUJL membership at no cost. Anyone who wants to make a difference in the world & help fulfill our mission can join NSUJL!

What does an NSUJL membership do? First of all, you DO NOT need to be an NSUJL member to receive benefits in the event of a work-related accident. You also DO NOT need a membership to volunteer with our organization. Your membership dues, which is a small yearly fee, are donations that are used to assist families. Therefore, you will be making a difference in the lives of your fellow brothers and sisters, some of whom you may already know and have worked with.

What are the benefits of an NSUJL membership for you personally? The biggest benefit is your ability to contribute to line-families who need us! However, our members also enjoy perks exclusive to NSUJL members, including discounts to a variety of line-related stores, including the NSUJL store on our website. We do this because we appreciate you! NSUJL members are also involved in the direction and governance of NSUJL: members receive voting rights at our annual meetings, including yearly nominations and elections of officers and directors.

To those of you who are already members, THANK YOU! To those of you who would like to sign up to be a member, please visit http://bit.ly/nsujl_membership. And, if you have any questions about our membership or want to become more involved, contact us!
