2020 Rodeo Cancelled – NSUJL

  • by

A Message From the President, Rae Johnson:

It is with a heavy heart that due to state regulations the NSUJL has made the decision to cancel our 2020 Lineman Benefit rodeo. Unfortunately, PA is still under a 250 person max gathering restriction.  Since we have nearly triple that in attendance usually, it’s impossible for us to comply.

With that said, the NSUJL will hold the Climbing for Lost Linemen ceremony on Saturday, August 15th, 2020 at 6 pm in Freeland, PA.  This is the new NSUJL property.  In doing so we ask that each family bring no greater than 5 family members. We are also limiting climbers to 30.

Please call me, Rae, directly (570-550-2978) if you plan to attend as a climber. As always, the entire event will be recorded live on our Facebook for all to join us as we honor our fallen brothers and sisters.

The address of the new property is 555 Foster Ave. Freeland, PA 18661. Travel and hotel information will be updated on the website: http://www.nsujlrodeo.com. We apologize for any inconvenience.

With your ongoing support, the NSUJL will continue to be an unwavering presence in the lives of our families and lineworkers.

Thank You for your support.  We appreciate your understanding of this tough decision and look forward to seeing EVERYONE in 2021 at our new location!
