Our growing acceptance from I.B.E.W. Local Unions across the country has sparked the Interest of a Few Business Managers and International Reps in D.C. On May 10th, our Vice President, Jessica Lackey received a phone call from none other then Ed Mings at the International office of I.B.E.W. in Washington D.C. He, being protective of I.B.E.W. and it’s members (as he should), questioned us about N.S.U.J.L. extensively. With nothing to hide and only the best intentions at heart, the conversation went easily and extremely well. He’s has requested we get back to him once our 501c3 status has been approved. 🙂
Two weeks went by, yet another Phone call. This time from the business manager of I.B.E.W. Local 53 in Kansas City, Bob Stuart. He formally invited us to attend the District Meeting to take place in Rend Lake, Il. Honored, we quickly accepted the offer and are anxiously awaiting July!
What a Month May has been! We are very humbled by our support and recognition. Thank you Bob Stuart and Ed Mings for giving us a chance.
