Tool Bucket fundraiser. Upon conversing with Rod Paul, of Bashlin Industries, I mentioned the disbelief that a rodeo did not exist here in the northeast, a bit jealous too might I add. Since all of our expenses for any N.S.U.J.L. event/meeting are all paid for out of our own pockets, I can’t exactly afford to fly to California every other weekend… Nor would my husband allow me to, as technically it’s HIS pocket. LOL. Meanwhile, Our Texas reps, Our Cali Reps, Our WA Reps, ALL have attended and are headed to even more rodeos on the West Coast and Central U.S. After Bashlin sent a huge box, and I mean huge, of donations for fundraising events, we receive another email. The most amazing, generous, email you could imagine. Rod offered and donated to us a location, poles, equipment, etc to hold our very own N.S.U.J.L Linemen Rodeo. Yes, an N.S.U.J.L Linemen Rodeo right here in the North-East! WOOT WOOT. Rod then put us in touch with Ken, from Global Live Line, who then offered to have it at his Resort Location! So, late spring/early summer 2013, N.S.U.J.L will have their first Annual Fundraising for Families Rodeo! The location Ken is donating for the rodeo is absolutely perfect. Located on the Western side of PA, just minutes from Ohio, at a small family-owned resort. The Resort has Lodging, a Restaurant, a Lounge and a Golf course! How Exciting!!!!!! As we finish off our planning for the event, we will let everyone know the details and how to sign-up! N.S.U.J.L is thrilled to be able to offer a closer location to the Linemen, Apprentices, I.B.E.W. Locals, Power Companies and Contractors here in the North-East and Central area. Any expenses incurred by our Officers, Directors and Volunteers are all paid for out of their own pockets.
